OLEG SOLDATOV

Biography

Oleg Soldatov graduated from the Economics and Law Faculty of the Moscow University of Consumer Cooperation in 2000.

Since 2001 worked as legal counsel in RAO UES of Russia and in various state-run and commercial organizations where he gained a vast experience in legal support to transactions and claims work.

Joined Klishin & Partners in 2003. Obtained advocate status in 2004. Included in the Regional Register of Advocates of the Moscow Region under registration number 50/4545.

Oleg Soldatov is a highly skilled specialist in corporate law, contract law, civil and arbitration proceedings.

For many years he has been rendering high-quality legal assistance to legal entities and individuals in regular, magistrate and arbitration courts of the Russian Federation. More than once successfully represented his clients in lawsuits and corporate disputes.

Mr. Soldatov’s clientele includes major power generation companies, such as RAO UES of Russia, FGC UES, ОАО Mosenergo, ОАО Chuvashenergo, ОАО Kirovenergo, ОАО TGC №5 and ОАО TGC №6.

In 2008-2009 he was a member of K&P working group that defended the International Investment Bank in the course of the proceedings held in the International Commercial Arbitration Court of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry with a view to recover the debt of the National Bank of Cuba under loan contracts and deposit agreements.

In 2009 as a member of K&P working group he took part in the drafting of expert opinions under the instructions of the RF Ministry of Finance.

In the summer of 2009 Oleg Soldatov was a delegate of the Russian Federation to the 40th training session of the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

In 2010 as a member of K&P working group he rendered assistance to the Russian Red Cross within the framework of the implementation of RF Government Decree №1079 “On the approval of the Rules of Subsidizing the “Russian Red Cross” All-Russian Public Organization” 23.12.2009.
