BERINGOFF International Academy of Law is a unique educational project launched in 2018 at the initiative of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and four leading Russian universities: Moscow State Institute (University) of International Affairs, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the RF Government.

About BERINGOFF International Academy of Law

Memorandum on Cooperation in the Sphere of Legal Education was signed on 5 December 2018 with a view to set up and promote a Swiss-based international law academy.

The Memorandum envisaged the foundation of International Legal Education Center, an independent non-profit organization with the following key areas of activity: elaboration of a uniform learning module, generation of unique double degree programs, cooperation with Russian partner universities, establishment of BERINGOFF International Academy of Law and arranging for its operation.

The idea of BERINGOFF International Academy of Law was to accumulate the best practices in legal education along its most demanded lines. Education in an international environment, mandatory traineeship in a Swiss law firm legal, efficient language training and integration into the international legal environment enables each student to make a major step towards his or her professional fulfillment.

BERINGOFF Academy, acting jointly with its partner universities, currently implements the bachelor’s degree program in international and comparative law, as well as master’s degree programs in intellectual property law, international sports law, international financial law and international environmental law. Combined and short-term programs are also being implemented in Montreux, Geneva, Zurich and Lausanne.

These programs are drafted by prominent professors and experts from partner universities who work in the most in-demand areas of jurisprudence (legal regulation of artificial intelligenceбintellectual property law, international sports law etc.)
