DMITRY BOYCHENKO

Biography

Dmitry Boychenko graduated from the Military Law Faculty of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Kharkov, Ukraine)  in 2011. In 2013 he obtained his second university degree from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (Severodonetsk, Luhansk Region). 

Mr. Boychenko has vast experience in criminal law and criminal proceedings. He started his career in the public prosecutor’s offices of Ukraine. From 2011 to 2014 he occupied various positions in the prosecution and investigation divisions of the military prosecutor’s officers of Odessa and Kriviy Rih garrisons of Ukraine’s South Region, as well as in the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Kuibyshev District of Donetsk. 

He later served in the public prosecutor’s offices of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) as Deputy Head of the Investigation Department of the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office of DPR and in 2016 he was appointed Deputy Public Prosecutor of Starobeshevsky District of DPR and was then promoted to the post of Public Prosecutor of the same district. 

During the period of his service at this post Dmitry Boychenko exercised control over the supervisory activities of the officers of the public prosecutor’s office, as well as over the compliance with laws of criminal procedure in the course of criminal intelligence operations, preliminary inquiry and investigation by the officers of Starobeshevsky Interior Department of DPR. He also rendered support to the representatives of public prosecution in the first instance court.

Dmitry Boychenko was later promoted to the post of Special Investigator of the Investigation Department of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office. During this period of work he gained enormous experience in the investigation of criminal cases of various categories, including those highly publicized.
