In 1998 Vitaly Bogomolov graduated from the Academy of the RF Federal Security Service where he specialized in jurisprudence. Since 1998 worked as a senior investigator in the Economic Crimes Department of the Moscow and Moscow Region Department of the RF Federal Security Service. He took part in the investigations of crimes in the spheres of custom clearance and business.

Joined Klishin & Partners in 2002. Included in the Regional Register of Advocates of Moscow under registration number 77/665.

On 22 April 2005 elected to the Presidium of Klishin & Partners Attorneys at Law.

Vitaly Bogomolov represents Russian and foreign legal entities and individuals in matters pertaining to corporate law, civil law and arbitration proceedings.

For example, in 2009 he represented JSC RusHydro in its claim against ROSNO Insurance Company for the receipt of the insurance indemnity upon the onset of an insured event.
