Dmitry Shmerkin graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

In 2013-2015 worked as legal counsel in a major construction holding company.

Joined Klishin & Partners Attorneys at Law in 2016. Obtained attorney status in 2018. In 2019 elected Deputy Chairman of the Presidium.

Dmitry Shmerkin is a highly skilled specialist in the areas of corporate law, civil law, civil and arbitration proceedings, international private law.

On numerous occasions during his professional career he advised major Russian enterprises in matters related to mergers and acquisitions. He also defended foreign investors from illegal attempts to misappropriate their real estate and subsidiaries.

Attorney Dmitry Shmerkin regularly prepares legal opinions for foreign clients on various aspects of Russian law.
