Alexander Malakhov interviewed by Vedomosti: “Foreigners can conclude enlistment contracts only once”.

Under the RF Law on Military Duty and Military Service, the only difference between Russian and foreign individuals intending to conclude an enlistment contract is that the latter ones can do this only once, reminded Alexander Malakhov, Attorney of Klishin & Partners.

They will have to leave military service upon the expiry of such contract. The provisions concerning any new contract term will apply only to new contracts, added Malakhov.
