Political and legal features of the evolution of the regulatory activities of states

The article analyzes the views of legal experts on the objective requirements in the development of legal regulation of international affairs, assesses the prospects and new forms of such regulation and reviews the legal instruments applied by the states in order to protect their national interests in cases when they are infringed upon by other players, i.e. other states or associations of these states.
